Terms & Conditions
Sanct Noir | Permanent Makeup
Welcome to Sanct Noir. These Terms & Conditions explain the terms of booking and receiving our permanent makeup treatments. Please read them carefully before booking your appointment.
By booking a treatment with Sanct Noir, you acknowledge that you have been given the opportunity to read these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
1. Booking Appointments
Appointments can be booked through our online booking system or by contacting Sanct Noir directly.
If you are unsure which treatment is suitable for you, we recommend booking a consultation before selecting a treatment.
Please ensure you select the correct service when booking. If you have existing permanent makeup, previous microblading or pigment from another artist, please inform us before booking so we can assess your suitability.
All appointment times are reserved specifically for each client. Please ensure you can attend your chosen appointment before confirming your booking.
2. £50 Booking Deposit
A £50 deposit is required for all permanent makeup (PMU) services to secure your appointment.
Your appointment is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
The £50 deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment.
The remaining balance is payable on the day of your appointment.
Deposits apply to the specific treatment booked and are subject to our cancellation and rescheduling policy below.
If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. Any deposit retained or refunded will be handled in accordance with these terms and applicable consumer law.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that circumstances can change. However, late cancellations can leave appointment times unfilled, so we kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
More than 48 hours' notice
Please contact us to rearrange your appointment or cancel your booking. Where your appointment is cancelled, your deposit will be refunded or otherwise handled in accordance with your applicable cancellation rights and these terms.
Less than 48 hours' notice
If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, some or all of your deposit may be retained to cover reasonable losses directly resulting from the late change, where legally permitted. The amount retained will be fair and proportionate to the loss incurred.
Missed appointments
If you fail to attend your appointment without notifying us, we may retain an appropriate amount of your deposit to cover reasonable losses arising from the missed appointment, where legally permitted.
Please contact us as soon as possible if an emergency prevents you from attending. We will consider exceptional circumstances individually.
These provisions do not override any statutory cancellation or refund rights that apply to your booking.
4. Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible. Arriving late may reduce the time available for your treatment.
If you arrive too late for us to carry out your treatment safely and to the required standard, we may need to reschedule your appointment. Any deposit or cancellation arrangements will be handled in accordance with our booking policy and applicable law.
5. Patch Tests
Where required by our treatment procedures, a patch test must be completed within the timeframe specified by Sanct Noir before your appointment.
Your patch test instructions will explain how to complete the test and what to look out for. Please inform us of any reaction before attending your appointment.
A patch test cannot guarantee that an allergic reaction will not occur.
If a reaction occurs or we have concerns about your suitability, your treatment may need to be postponed or cancelled for safety reasons. We will discuss the appropriate next steps and any applicable refund or rescheduling arrangements with you.
6. Medical History and Treatment Suitability
Your safety is our priority.
Before treatment, you must provide accurate information about any relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, skin conditions, previous cosmetic tattooing and other factors that could affect your suitability for treatment.
Please inform us of any changes to your health or medication before your appointment.
We reserve the right to postpone or decline treatment if we believe it may be unsuitable or unsafe to proceed. Where possible, we will explain the reason and discuss alternative options.
If we are unable to proceed for a safety reason, any deposit or payment will be handled fairly in accordance with the circumstances and applicable law.
7. Consultation, Shape and Colour Approval
Before beginning your treatment, we will discuss your desired results and agree on a suitable shape and colour with you.
We will map out the proposed brow shape and give you the opportunity to review it before proceeding.
Please raise any concerns or request adjustments before the treatment begins. Once you have approved the proposed design, the treatment will proceed on that basis.
Permanent makeup results vary from person to person. We cannot guarantee an exact colour, shape or outcome, as healing, skin characteristics, lifestyle and other individual factors can affect the final result.
8. Treatment Results and Healing
Permanent makeup is a cosmetic tattooing procedure. The initial appearance may differ from the healed result.
Colour, intensity and definition can change during the healing process. Some fading, unevenness or variation in pigment retention may occur.
Results depend on factors including:
Skin type and individual healing.
Lifestyle and sun exposure.
Following the recommended aftercare.
Previous cosmetic tattooing and existing pigment.
Individual pigment retention.
We will explain the expected healing process and provide relevant aftercare instructions.
9. Perfecting Sessions and Touch-Ups
A perfecting session may be recommended after your initial treatment to assess healing and make appropriate adjustments.
Any included perfecting session, applicable booking timeframe and additional charges will be explained before treatment.
If you require further sessions beyond those included in your original treatment, additional fees may apply. These will be discussed with you before any further work is carried out.
Results and pigment retention cannot be guaranteed, and a touch-up may not be suitable or necessary in every case.
10. Aftercare Responsibilities
You will receive aftercare instructions following your treatment. It is your responsibility to follow these instructions carefully to support healing and help maintain your results.
This may include keeping the treated area clean, avoiding picking or scratching, limiting activities that could interfere with healing and protecting the area from excessive sun exposure.
Please contact Sanct Noir if you have concerns about your healing. If you experience signs of infection, a severe allergic reaction or other concerning symptoms, seek appropriate medical advice promptly.
We cannot guarantee results where healing is affected by factors outside our control. However, nothing in these terms excludes responsibility where we have failed to meet our legal obligations.
11. Refunds and Complaints
If you have concerns about your experience or are unhappy with your treatment, please contact us at info@sanctnoir.com so we can discuss the matter.
We will consider complaints individually and aim to resolve concerns fairly.
Because permanent makeup involves a cosmetic procedure and individual healing, results may vary. However, this does not remove your statutory rights if a service has not been provided with reasonable care and skill.
Refunds, corrective treatments and other remedies will be considered in light of the circumstances and applicable consumer law.
12. Photography and Social Media
Before-and-after photographs may be taken for treatment records where appropriate.
Any use of identifiable photographs or videos for social media, our website or other marketing purposes will require separate permission where applicable.
Agreeing to a treatment does not automatically mean you agree to your images being used for promotional purposes. You can decline marketing photography without this affecting your treatment.
Further information about how we handle personal information is available in our Privacy Policy.
13. Right to Cancel Online Bookings
Where a booking is made online or at a distance, statutory cancellation rights may apply, including a potential 14-day cancellation period.
The application of these rights depends on the circumstances of the booking and the applicable law. If you request that a treatment begins during a statutory cancellation period, additional requirements may apply.
Our standard 48-hour cancellation policy does not replace or restrict any statutory cancellation rights you may have.
If you have questions about cancelling a booking, please contact us at info@sanctnoir.com.
14. Changes to Appointments by Sanct Noir
In exceptional circumstances, we may need to change or cancel an appointment due to illness, an emergency or another unforeseen situation.
If this happens, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to arrange an alternative appointment or discuss an appropriate refund.
We will not charge you a cancellation fee where we cancel your appointment and cannot provide the booked service.
15. Privacy and Personal Information
We collect and use personal information to manage appointments, carry out consultations, maintain treatment records and provide our services.
Your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information about how your personal information is collected, stored and used.
16. Contact Information
If you have any questions about these Terms & Conditions, your appointment or our policies, please contact us.

17. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary to reflect changes to our services, booking procedures or legal obligations.
The latest version will be published on our website. The terms applicable to an existing booking will not be changed retrospectively in a way that unfairly disadvantages you or removes your statutory rights.
